@jmvcpp I did NOT write Ravel's Bolero should be"forbidden" to anybody: did you find the letters "f-o-r-b-i-d" in my comment??!!! . Anybody can try to play it, even on a Jew's harp, or on a mouth organ. Since you But the result can only be what it can be. There's no point in keeping this discussion up

I understand your point, but I have to disagree with what you say. I don't think any piece NEEDS something, that should never happen. I believe you have to judge each piece as a universe. I also think that something is missing in this piece and I am an enthusiast of Loussier too, but if you say what you say you forbid any other artist without and orchestra to make it, and I don't think anyone should do that. (My English may be very wrong, I'm Bolivian and I learned it long ago jejeje)

veramente notevole!!! una versione unica , personale crescente, degna di un grande artista!

@jamon2112 I bet Vince Guaraldi would have done this if he had thought of it, and if Schroeder was a Ravel fanatic.

This isn't the style of Bolero, we can all agree on that, and noboby says it has to be. But this is to take an outstandig piece and make it just another jazzy song..
