ive resently done an english report on this advert n i think that its just stupid- what happened to the shots of the JEANS?? i much prefered the old ones

The entire purpose of the ad was to advertise that the seams are now twisted around the leg, to allow better movement.

If you notice also, this ad shows equal positions between men and women, which is far contrary to the old ads, which showed women as submissive, and men as strong, and appealing.

Levi are trying to expand their audience to women

i was born in 1992 and i grew up with this ad, this ad, Tango Slap and The Budweisser Frogs/Wasssupp ones!! Loved those ads

Besides, I still got my engineered jeans and still wear 'em. They are the best jeans ever made on this planet!
