  • my friends been running 16 pounds on his rb26 for over a year now....

  • @noobtube92

    RB26 has other turbos fitted

  • you actually cant make much more power over 12.5 psi anyway with RB25 T3 turbo. AFM maxes out at this level of boost and turbo won't make anymore power past 12.5 psi.

  • hi

yes as i sad in the video about 0,8 bar

12,5 psi is 0,86 of course you can drive more many people drive between 0,9 and 1 bar but soon or later the ceramic of the turbo will give up.. if you drive 0,8bar its a good solution for on long term and good performance

  • @surfer1688 i had a rb20det skyline and it run 14psi until one day the vacume hose split, didn't actually realize until it was wheel spinin in 3rd gear with ease i looked at the boost gauge and it was runnin 18psi and went nuts on that until the next day it split even more and free boosted and so then, took it to around 20psi, then the AFM gave up this was only the factory AFM witch is now runin my rb25det but is only runin10psi at this stage but plan on runin 14psi in future

  • My R32 GTST is running all stock components and is set at 14psi and has no trouble at all and its been like that for 2yrs or more.

My only bolt ons are the Turbosmart single stage boost controller,100mm K&N pod filter and still retaining the stock AFM and also the SSBV.

I know its set at 14psi because my Autometer boost gauge is correct,it has been run at 18psi but the ECU couldnt work out WTF was going on.

  • my series 2 hit boost cut arount 14 psi. if u have aftermarket turbo and computer how much boost can the engine take?????

  • R33 Series 1 turbo can handle max up to 12psi at the safest and the r33 series 2 would is 14psi though if you only got stock intercooler then only go up to 10psi on both turbos. Though if you got an aftermarket one then you can run the series 1 up to 12 and the series up to 14.

  • What intercooler kit?

  • @waksta1234567 manual boost controller .... since you didnt know that if i were you id pay to have that shit installed by a pro lol

  • apparently you can increase your boost at home by yourself. anyone know of any vids on youtube about how to for an r33

  • I was Running 20psi on my stock rb20det rebuilt turbo, it didnt last long....lol

It still work by the way but only goes to

10psi but it doesnt push as much boost so it sucks.
