@chaosisraining666 u might try Thy Will Be Done, another awsome christian thrash band, they're like this band in lyrical content, not real preachy...the lyrics are written creatively

I did not know that The Showdown was a Christian Band. But they still kick ass, and there all around great musician's.

This is the only song I'm missing from their album. Not even sure how that happened... But I was hoping against hope I wasn't missing much. All the while knowing I was dead wrong. And I just proved that to myself...

@turkeygrandpa69: Weirdest thing: I actually got on the computer today looking to see if there were any christian bands that kinda sounded like Machine Head, which has been and still is one of my favorite bands. I came across The Showdown and have been listening to their stuff, and just came across your comment. Spot on dude. Although I'd actually say it's an even mix of MH and Pantera, which is even better!

Both albums are different styles. Temptation Come My Way was more of a Southern Metal style. On Back Breaker, The Showdown sounds more like Pantera, one of their main influences. @SylosisFan
