i believe in first place, religion should not be there in democracy and politics. Politics has all to do with equality and logic . People who say homosexuality is not defined in religion so better say no to marraige , they are bringing personal religion , faith into politics. Secondly , they now are discussing personal decision like pregnancy , love ...in lines with politics card game. stop politics into homosexuality..!! support equality for all.!!!

If only everyone was a student of philosophy, and realized that sin is (in its most superficial form) a concept. One, I might add, that is RELATIVE to the PERCEPTION of the observer. So, the real question lies here, "Is one opinion superior to another, simply because one of them is more traditional?" Haha, A guy can walk away and yet two committed women shouldn't be able to try. Hypocrisy. Until you can prove that it's detrimental for a child to grow up with same sex parents they should be allowed to raise families. If you really knew all the answers there wouldn't be such a high divorce rate and your Priests wouldn't be molesting young boys. (personally I think lecherous priests are more dangerous than same sex marriage.)

HA! Now let me get this straight. Cheney's daughter's gay, but Bush thinks that it's immoral. Cheney's proud that Mary's pregnant, but whether or not she was artificially inseminated the child will still have two mothers (plus the Dad if he gets involved). Now Cheney gets offended by the question, but they want to tell other gay Americans that they won't recognize their unions because what they are doing is wrong under the eyes of God. That seems fair.
