  • The first minute and a half of this movement contains some of the greatest low brass chords ever written.

  • Don't mess with the timpani player.

  • @samthegatorfan It's a real crying shame that some others have not had the opportunites to really appreciate music like this ;-(

  • The best symphony ever composed and the best symphony that ever will be composed.

  • And just think that people listen to Justin Beiber...sad...just sad.

  • I can't believe I never heard of Bruckner before... this shit is genius! If I ever got into a staring contest with god, this would be the soundtrack.

  • everything is so awesome, but what makes me love bruckner is the stuff from left field, like: 5:33

  • beautiful balance. love how the low brass sound glorious, but they dont rape the notes like some orchestras interpret the fff.

  • Haitink, the best !

  • @IpsaPaphum Haitink is part Jewish. I believe it was his paternal grandmother.

  • @ThaSchwab It makes me so happy. I cannot wait until I get the opportunity to play this symphony.
