  • I use the word freely when I hear black people say it and the convo usually goes (roughly) like this:

    black: What did you say?

me: The same word you've been saying..

    black: That's different, I'm black.

me: so you get to do something that I can't because of the color of my skin?

    black: .....

  • very very true

  • Not all black people say it.

There ARE black people such as myself who were raised with class, know their history, and refuse to use the "N word".

I'm offended when fellow black people call me it, but when it comes from another race, particularly white. A trigger goes off. If I don't use it, what the fuck makes it ok for you too?! (goes my thinking :p)

If other races assume ALL black people are okay with it, then THAT in it of itself is an error..

  • NIGGa !!!

  • 0:47 sounds like you said "Edward" =P

    But good point.

  • I agree with you on this issue, whatever word is used to denigrate any one culture is wrong in the act, the word is after all just a word. The act of verbally assaulting someone can be done with a varity of words. If you are proud of who you are (high self-esteem) then 'sticks and stones' works!
