  • Being a teenage boy of the 70s....ahhh..I had a huge Tracey Austin crush [my girlfriend's name is Tracey..coincidentally..glad that's been such a much used name..we need more girls with that name.:)].

  • The V/O of the "This is CBS" ID at the end of this set was Bill Martin.

  • Ah, Action Park! I grew up 10 minutes away. Went there a lot. So many fun times! Just as many injuries!

  • Chuck Tanner used to do the promos for all of the Atari Fireworks nights at Three Rivers. I remember one began with a shot of him arguing with an umpire, and Tanner saying "You know, I've had a few fireworks myself over the years, but I don't think that's what the people at Atari have in mind!"

  • Wow, Action Park was only 3 years old at the time of this commercial.

  • Ah, so that's how you pronnounce "Knudsen" - now I can sound less like a jackass when talking with railfains about the MTA/Metro-North operated M6s by Morrison-Knudsen

  • ACTION PARK! I may have gone there the last year they were open [ 1996 ], but the memories are forever. You never forget the trauma. :D

  • OMG TRACY AUSTIN, forgot all about her, was my crush then..
