Thanks for the comments. No trouble keeping him going. I was showing where he was with trot canter transistion training. The breaks in canter were because I asked him to drop to trot. He is not a slow horse, he oversteps at the walk, has a lovely lovey trot, and on the trail we wait for friends on big horses to catch up. I have a Morgan. They are anything but lazy. Love to work for you. If you have energy, so do they. If you slow down, they are right there with you. My gelding is so responsive (trained) that I can think about what I want and he will do it for me. Morgans are wonderful horses, so willing to work for you if you treat them well and learn the type of conversation to have with them.

it kind of looks like the rider is having trouble keeping him going? is he a very lazy or slow horse? im doing some light horse shopping and this guy caught my eye. great video!
