conectiv and xponent how to demonstration set up

I'm trying to get my Connectiv to be read on Garageband so I can record my mixes. However when the Input, in garageband, is set to M-audio connectiv, I only hear a humming sound... Help?

@carpino15 do you have both the USB and power cord plugged into your conectiv?

*************UPDATE..... I have given up on Torq... if you are debating on whether or not to purchase Torq... I recommend going with a more stable system. Torq has too many glitches and will freeze during the big show.

and what do you connect the Xponent to? if the connectiv is connected to the computer?

My Torq won't work I use cdl tables. But what I'm guessing I did wrong was on the Torq control I ran RCA out A and B to my mixer. But u only used 1 RCA out to your monitor.
