Nun Danket Alle Gott - Sigfrid Karg-Elert

Sigfrid Karg-Elert (1877-1933) studied music at the Leipzig Conservatory. He was a well regarded composer whose compositions included pieces for the organ. In the early 1930s he gave a concert tour of the United States. David Christensen plays "Now Thank We All Our God" at Eden Lutheran Church in Riverside, California.

Very impressive. Your manual work is very concise and accurate. I am trying to learn this although it is well above my level of ability, but it's such a fabulous piece, one doesn't mind putting the practice effort in! Thanks for posting it.

Always a very inspiring piece although the theme tune is a bit concealed.

David -- one of my favorite organ pieces. I recall Eden Church when I was at the Univ of Redlands in the early/mid 60s and Dale Wood was music director.
