****Please read description before posting*****Once again, here's another video of my Dingo, I in this video it had a 44mm mikuni carburetor with DPM (the DPM has been disabled obviously). This carb was recently replaced with a much more efficient 28mm mikuni however Im looking for a 34mm carb to install... The 44 mm was good at top end but horrible on stop and go and off road karting.

  • wats the top speed

  • @lts45 back then it was 55mph but I sold the kart about a year ago so...

  • Im also wondering where you got the brakes from and how difficult it is to install. my only problem is i dont have a welder so i dont want to get into a project that i wont be able to finish because of havinf to weld brakets and such

  • @LUMLEY92 To me it was pretty straight forward to swap the factory 5hp briggs for the much bigger GX390. The motor on my kart came from a pressure washer, what I did was to cut the steel plate where the GX was mounted in the washer and welded it to the Dingo's frame. As for the brakes, the best replacement is a 150cc scooter's front calliper, you'll need a welder though or at least I cant figure any other way you could insatall it using just bolts and nuts.

  • @LUMLEY92 Speaking about the torque converter, considering the power and specially the torque output of the GX390 I would strongly suggest you use at least a 40 series Torque Converter from Comet, you can find complete setups on ebay starting at around $100. Anything less than that will simply not be able to withstand the abuse.

  • @MarvinSanti oh cool i wanted to make one but i dont know how much hp to put on it

  • hey i have a dingo frame that came with a briggs 5hp and i have a gx390 engine that i want to put on it. Do you know if i would have to modify the mount on the frame in order to fit the engine and also would it work if i just bought a 1 inch diamater torque converter piece for the drive shaft and used the exsisting other pulley

  • @MarvinSanti thank you but can u send them to this account my bad about that it was my brothers and he left it up and i thought it was mine
