at :23, he's thinking "oh boy is it gonna be fun after the show"

@bbassjee the tempo is just fine, Requiem is a mass on the whole but this part of it, just as dies irae, is all about the fire and agony, so it needs to be far more aggressive than the rest of the composition. check out Gardiners approach which for me I think is the best and is still at a particularly fast tempo. Then compare it to the work of Marriner (on the cd), i think you'll find it painfully slow..

the speed is fine..

Yes... I can cry when i see such a bad conductor as her... Sometimes she is conducting a 3 part measure (3/4), while it is a 2 part measure....(4/4).. No one can see her baton as well..... And i miss the emotion of the music (yes she is going to fast, and you miss totally the meaning of the 'confutatis maledictis' Mozart wrote.) a requiem is an very emotional sort of music, as the requiem from Mozart is a very emotional piece.... Bad..:(
(sorry for my English though)

My thoughts too!

to fast, to fast..... you're going to fast!!!

She shows promise.
I like the tempo actually, it's quite exciting and prevents the voca me from getting too bogged down.
-
that would be awkward, tryin to be serious when your face is just plastered big and wide in front of you :)

it is such a nice composition, but it is really to fast, i miss the feeling...the lyrics are as black and white....dark and shine...thats somethin i miss...and she got applause but is nit as important as the choir! I sing it my self in our choir, but enjoy it more than listening this act! Sry! great worc, of course, but failed the real message, i guess!

if you could put up the judges comments for these - it would make my day!
