you can buy potassium alum at the drug store in little quantity and may be not 100% pure. you can also buy it by asking the drug store to call a bigger quantity for you from the laboratory, or find a chemical dealer, there are many of them, call them by phone. good luck

You can get regular alum in the spice section of the grocery store. It's used for making pickels. However, the crystals that form from that alum are double pyramids not the single pyramid as shown in this video.

in the spice section, super i did not knew that ! good , alum potassium give naturally the double pyramid, it is called an octahedron, to get a pyramid there is only half of the octahedron that is growing, for that reason i get often 9 faces pyramids, if you look to my videos in my old ones you'll see the 9 faces, sometime i get 5 faces it's very rare
