Of all the Guitarists Gypie was my favourite and most versatile. The Guitar breaks on Down at the Doctors are pure class. Steve's OK but dosen't have the range Gypie had.

Gypie was great. Saw them a couple of times with Wilko at Newcastle City hall. The third time was with Gypie and the place was full for the first time (young girls were getting into it). It's a shame that Wilko never got the same sort of crowd. Wilko was great but Gypie's first album (Be seeing you) is my favourite and probably their most consistent.
