Am I surprised that there was a Government cover-up? No - this is just the tip of the iceberg. Am I disgusted that our Government is responsible for these deaths and then attempted to cover it up - hell yes! Lived on Camp LeJeune 1969-1972 as a dependent. Drank the water every day. Unusual illnesses in our family, too. This just infuriates me that they knew all along and never told anybody because it would have been too much work.

I lost my nephew 30+ years ago to this catastrophic cover-up. My sister went through hell due to this loss and then 5 years ago.... I lost her, too -same bad water. My brother-in-law spent years working on this with Mr. Ensminger..... souls bound by a tragedy that should never have happened. I lost my best friend, my sister & the Corps lost a devoted Marine wife. She prevailed through her husband's two tours in Vietnam, multiple moves & the death of her son. Semper Fi you forgotten ones !!

As important as this cover up was still theres a large cover up on how mant rapes and sexual assaults are committed by them, not to mention almost encouraged hebaphillia.Wheres that documentary? This year alone the Marines had more incidents than the Army(whos usually in first due to size) but yes our smallest branch has out raped the largest! Theres plenty of policies keeping that from the public and thy're most likely to get away with it when its victims are civilians ( most are)
