Making A Crab Net Pt 2 of 4

Here is a retired Chesapeake Bay Waterman showing his expert technique to making a net for crabbing on the bay. It is an age old craft that is dwindling as is the commercial fishing on the bay. hmmmm. Where do you get a lap jig that he uses? or do you have to make your own?

Sorry have to make your own. I got this video from a friend of the gentleman that makes these nets and when I got my hands on it, I knew I had to post here and it has been a big hit around the world.

Thank you VERY MUCH. Especially for showing me the lap jig. I use purse nets for rabbits, but have never quite got the hang of circular netting. That lap jig is the third hand I always needed! Hoping to get to the point I can tie a cast net for bait fish.

ahhh np... He gave the schematics at the end of the video so I dont think it will be difficult... thx
