Burn Zombie Burn - Woods, Defense, Gold Medal

Burn Zombie Burn. Woods level, Defend Daisy mode. Here's a really easy way to get high scores in the Defend Daisy mode.

What you need to do is use the baseball bat (50 points per kill, 2nd highest point weapon). Set zombies on fire and let them surround Daisy. Then just constantly swing the bat and move and back forth among the burning zombies. Don't worry, they won't hurt you as long as you keep swinging and stay fairly close to the car. It will take 4-5 hits to kill a zombie, but burning zombies drop the health power-ups for Daisy (red hearts), so you just want to constantly make sure there's a decent amount of burning zombies in the area. Build Daisy's health up as needed, then venture out to burn more zombies and lure them to the car.

In some levels the cricket bat will eventually appear. Replace the baseball bat with this, you get 75 points per zombie for the cricket bat - it's the highest point weapon aside from TNT. It also kills zombies in 2-3 hits, so it's much quicker to use than the baseball bat.

Be careful when using this technique on other Defend Daisy Arcade levels. Sometimes the weapon spawns are right next to the car, so you have to pay attention or you'll pick a gun up by accident. This can put a huge kink in your plans because on some levels, a bat isn't always available (like it is in the Woods).

I easily got Gold on this run. As you can see from my high score in the corner, I got some 5 million prior to this, easily besting the Developer medal score of 3,963,696.

Wow, extremely helpful! Before, I couldn't get a bronze, and now I got a developer and then some!

Daisy died when the noxious zombies came. Damn things hurt when you approach them and can't be burnt. :P
