OMG i remember this on the old 45 record player, back then if you held the arm back the record would repeat and repeat....i was 8 years of age when my mum and her sister would drink red wine and play this all night long, the problem is, it was loud and the arm was back!!! lol

Sevil Ulu.

@annieatt She is singing about how she is too young to fall in love. Gigliola was only 16 or 17 at the time of this song herself.

Italian songs were very popular in old days in Turkey especially after San Remo music festival having broadcasted by Radio.. They always remind me of the good old days in 60's.
I heard this beautiful song very recently in one of the famous Turkish TV series. She is really beautiful and has an extraordinary voice.

@annieatt Indeed. beautiful song and more important, beautiful voice of gigliola Cinequetti. This song was used in an old italian movie, and the lirics are meant to say that she has not enough age to love his lover, who in the movie was much older than she. greetings!
Iam old enough to remember when this young girl won the Eurovision song contest in 1964.My friend and I used to frequent an Italian coffee bar and the Italians went crazy when she won. In those days it was a juke box in the corner and this song was played all the time.Iam so pleased to have found it on You Tube and to hear it again after all these years. Its a beautiful song. Haven't a clue what she is singing but its beautiful all the same.

I worked in Vercelli, Italy in 1964 and 65. This song , and the singer capture the magic of Italy for me. It is wonderful to hear it again. My sincerest thanks to the person who posted it!
