cat: "Get that thing away from me!" D:

My cat does this to me too, you just need 2 people to help, have the dryer on low, warm, and hold it at a legit distance.

@epic2011unboxings: Ummm. NO THEY CAT! I worked with cat and dog groomers for 6 years! Cat's get a blow dry all the time. You can only SUFFOCATE if air is taken away! Not if it is BLOWN on you. Otherwise everyone traveling on a motorcycle without a helmet at 70 miles per hour would suffocate and die. Do people USE ANY common sense before posting this kind of crap?

They can suffocate like that !'

This is not hilarious - this seems cruel. The cat is cornered and the approach is NOT KIND. Shame on that pet store.

My family had a cat who used to come into the bathroom to defend us women from the evil hairdryer.. She'd just hiss and growl at it and if it was in her reach she's bat at it really hard.. I wouldn't think it was so funny if she'd been scared and ran away but she did the opposite. I´m pretty sure the noice of the hairdryer is the biggest problem with cats not the hot air. And if that cat really wanted to run, it'd be long gone.

Jeez, after a while the cat just sat there and looked fairly calm. My cat flips out like that when I rub her belly, it doesn't mean she's scared, she's playing. Better to have a wam dry cat than a cold wet one.

ITS NOT HILARIOUS AT ALL. That poor cat is scared to death, you must know cats are very nervous and sensible animals. I dont believe it animal abuse. But you just shouldnt find "hilarious" this kind of stuff, you sick people.
@Susanlucena If she didn't blow dry the cat it would be freezing. Their fur takes forever to dry when you bath them and they get cold and start shivering. Towel drying doesn't work very well either.
You don't know the reasons for giving this cat a bath. Sometimes cats get too filthy to clean themselves and really need a bath.
I have a Cat myself along with a dog and a Cats fur is worse than a dogs, they get all over the carpet, start allergies and shit, thats we trim our cat every few weeks.

I don't get how this is cruel? You can't NOT give cats a bath. Yes, cats can clean themselves to a certain degree, but they still get dirty, and it's important to give them a bath every now and then. Also, if you don't blow-dry the cat, it'll freeze! It is very hard to dry a cat using a towel only, even for short-hairs. Even in the tropics where it's super hot & sunny, we need to blow-dry the cat to dry it off properly or else it starts to shiver. It'll be animal cruelty if you leave it all wet!
