I have an appolo 3dc with solid mahogany back and sides and an aaa spruce top... Amazing it was 500 uk pound. I tried it against martins and Taylor's and takamines at that price and it blew them out of the water !!!! The pickup in the guitar is also really great very versatile system :)

@2112LSG Did you have one and sell it?

@musicianscentre oh no thats not what i meant. its just i own one and was wondering if i could spot it in this vid thats all. but i think at the beggining you said tha fa1's were acoustic but mine's semi electric?

@2112LSG Ahhh I see. I think we had sold out of the FA1 electro acoustics when making that video. We generally call acoustic guitars with pickups "electro-acoustics", we call semi acosutics hollow bodied electrics, usually with the F holes.

hi thanks for the overview I am going to get the 400ga next week do you think that the size will be perfect to play fingerstlye like Tommy Emmanuel i know he uses a slightly small body size than a grand auditorium should I maybe go with there folk body shapes instead thanks

@prepre73 Tommy Emmanuel's sound still has a good amount of bass in there so I personally would say the GA would be a good one to go for. Of course if you can play both side by side and decide that is definitely the best way to find out. We've actually got the FA400GAC on offer at the moment with £200 knocked off.
