Featuring Strum's Electric Guitar MIDI synthesizer
Sampled percussion
Sampled bass one-notes

Please forgive some of my patchy rhythm issues.

I thought I saw him on the video
A trance is keeping him under
I know that god is in the radio
Checkin the station
I'm glad I caught it from me to you
Just a call in the medium
I know hear it, I hear it too
It's everywhere that I go

You come back another day
And do no wrong

The say the devil is paranoid
Always signin the cover
But god is leakin through the stereo
Between the station to station
You believe it, I know you do
You won't admit it or say so
I know that god is in the radio
Just repeating a slogan

You come back another day
And do no wrong

  • Very good Jer...I can hear a kick drum/tamborine / acoustic / and the slide guitar...is the growling sound low in the mix coming from the MIDI Electric Guitar Synth?

  • There's two layers, one is bass samples for which I added distortion to. The other with the pitch bends is the MIDI electric guitar. The electric guitar has some limitations, though, and you have to be judicious about how you use it or it sounds too synthetic.

  • it's fun watching you expiriment... i loved this song, *especially* from 1:54 on.

  • thanks! experimenting is the most fun I have.

  • Well most of the sounds on this track are sampled, so I was never banging a bass drum or anything. The acoustic guitar is about as loud as it gets, but my apartment actually has pretty thick walls. I've told my neighbors to call me out if it's ever too loud, and I've never heard anything from them in the year I've been here.
