Released on the 1963 album, "Cloudy With Occasional Tears". Originally recorded in 1961 by Franck Pourcel under the title "Chariot". It was a hit for Petula Clark in France and Belgium before being translated into English and becoming a hit for Little Peggy March in the same year as this recording.

  • I've always been a fan of Miss Davis

  • Haha... it's always most amusing when the younger set think these classics originated on a contemporary film... Just as many thought Harry Connick Jr. wrote "IT HAD TO BE YOU", a great song written in the 1930's. A good song was good when written and will continue to be a hit through the ages.

  • Wasn't this song on "Sister Act?" ..and what a GR8 oldie but goodie!

  • @yedon68 So true. This cover by Skeeter is first class. Great music track and girly background vocals. Plus Skeeter's pumped-up hairdo on the LP from which this track was included, just sends me over the edge!

  • oh so romantic yes ever since he touched my heart i knew.. ahhhhhh !!!

  • I love this song!

  • Skeeter was the best!

  • @kurtsupreme agreed..... but Skeeter does a top notch version...!

  • If only some girl would be thinking like that of me.

  • this song always make me remember my lovely daddy.
