  • Ugh. They were asking Björk the STUPIDEST questions.

  • The days where you had great artists like Bjork and PJ Harvey at the Brits are over, now it's the likes of Pixie Lott and Cheryl bloody Cole

  • PJ such charm. It is a pity that she has told nothing

  • For those ignorant scandinavians consider Norway, Sweden and Denmark as scandinavia. Scandanavia, Iceland and Finland are referred to as the nordic countries.

  • @aeropilot It's a bit of both, the irish monks went back to Ireland and the first sizeable permanent population was norwegians fleeing Norway for various reasons. It has been speculated that most of the Celtic ancentry comes from slaves which were taken on viking raids in Ireland (as more of Celtic genes are found in women than men and it was documented that many women were taken forcefully from the British Isles as future wifes) but it's not black and wihite.

  • Oh no no no, Icelandic people are genetically Celtic, not Norwegian. The first permanant inhabitants of the island were three Irish monks. Subsequent genetic forensics proves the origin.

  • Iceland is not Scandinavia geometrically. But Icelandic ppl are Norwegians.

  • @McPrfctday Well, stop thinking of iceland as scandinavia as it is not :) Instead think of it what it is, which is a nordic country!

  • her eyes!

  • @useless987 I always consider Iceland as "Scandinavian". My Norwegian friend has a strange 'English' accent mixed with Norwegian... so much so that I asked her when we first met, "how long did you live in England for?"... to which she replied "never". Anyway, yeah - I think of Iceland as Scandinavian because it's Viking country and was settled by Norwegians. I'm seeing Bjork and PJ this weekend at the BESTIVAL! Looking forward to that!
