When rolls are scrubbed just before the election to disenfranchise 54,000 people who were then found to be eligible and are majority Democrat, yes, there is something wrong with YOUR truth. Add the fact that the Palm Beach County had 5,330 votes cast for the cross-party combination of Gore and Pat Buchanan, compared with only 1,631 for the equivalent cross-party combination of Bush and Buchanan. Those mistaken butterfly ballot votes ALONE would've swung the difference to Gore.

Gore did not win in 2000. the vote was razor-thin in florida; however, he still lost. certain people have a problem with that truth. moreover, you all are right regarding how this country went down the tubes during bush's presidency. it went down the tubes because neo-liberalism completely permeated this country. alas, bush pandered to the left too many times. stop being sheep, people. i know it's fashionable to bash bush; however, it is a bit trite now. :-)
