if anything ur killiing him with that light dude geckos dont absorb heat from there backs they do from there bellies so u need a heat PAD!!!

In the wild the surface a leopard gecko would get it's heat from would most likely be warmed by the sun. A heat mat would definitely be the better choice, but a lamp will work fine.

you shouldnt have a bulb for a leo they get they heat from under not above a heat mat is a prefect heat source this kid needs to get his facts right before making youtube i know my vids arnt perfect but my reptiles are setup right watch my vids and comment on them for more i enjoy making vids so comment and i will make one for then nex tday if not that night

How long will that 10 gallon tank last till the leo is too big for it and needs a bigger enclosure ?

@DopeyD4vid the 10 gallon tank is big enough for a leo his entire life or 2 babys-- if u have 2 leos u need a 20 if just 1 its whole life
