From the University of Kentucky's College of Design comes a presentation by David Mohney's Design studio in which students investigate a district on the north side of downtown Lexington in order to produce a master plan for the area. The plan is phased over 20 years and includes an in-depth analysis of the area and progressive design solutions to a currently under utilized site.
This project was in association with the Downtown Development Authority (Lexingtondda.com) which has collaborated numerous times with the College of Design in order to challenge and raise the limits of urban/architectural design for the downtown Lexington area.
