i have a gorgeous vintage dress. it has a white polyester inner lining, the outside is a cream-coloured transparent fabric (maybe tulle or organza) with intricate beadings. because of the old age, the transparent fabric is staring to rip/dissolve, especially along the seams. should i buy new layer of transparent fabric and sew it underneath the original one?

Do you have any good tips for repairing beading and embroidery work. I have a couple of items of vintage clothing and the beading is very loose, how can I improve this? Thanks

you can get a thin clear plastic that can be sewn onto the inside of the strap (regardless of how thin) that evens out the weight:) I understand being a double d myself.

I'm a 12DD, I found that if I wear a strapless bra in a halter neck style my neck gets sore and the straps of my bra tighten, would the same happen if I adapt a strapped dress to a halter neck? Thanks
