krrot, you are listening to people who follow the Old Testament, NOT Jesus Christ.

He never once said a negative thing about homosexuality. In fact Jesus, someone from Nazareth, "a place from which no good comes", born in a barn, told many parables about accepting outsiders and those who are discriminated against. I suggest if you want to call yourself a Christian, you read for yourself Christ's actual message. Not that perverted stuff from James Dobson, et al, that discriminates.

Beautiful until you get to the gay part. Listen, I love them because they are people and God commands us to love everybody but let's be clear on something: With ALL due respect God created Adam and Eve, NOT Adam and Steve. He is very clear in more than one passage that homosexuality is a "zero-tolerance" If he(the pastor) believes himself to be a Christian he should not ommit these passages and at least be aware that God does not agree with what he is doing.
