  • Wow, that was so convicting~ wow. That's me. Gotta go do a bit of soul searching.

  • It is a very sad tale a lot of us have lived out in our Christian experience. Still the church is a place of healing with some of us taking our medicine and some not. If you find yourself in this place remember we have a redeemer Jesus Christ who came to give us abundant life and the life these people are living is NOT ABUNDANT LIFE so......they (we) still have not come close enough to the living God to obtain it. What would it mean in your life to become close to God and have the abundant..?

  • There's a word for this in the Bible... the greek word means "actor" in english we call them "hypocrites" and any "christian" should know what Jesus thought about them.

  • My lord! I'd feel for those kids if they were real.

  • lol, God. I think they meant "desiring fairy tales"

  • very , very scary . . . but so truth.

  • @papaducklin the problem with e-mails is that we can't hear each others' tone of voice or necessarily truly understand what the reader really means; who are you referring to as 'the poor'? money wise, (this man is actually destitute), the blind or otherwise disabled, or the poor Christians who definitely use a little light shone upon them? Whatever, I'm sure we agree that the whole world would be better if everyone would let the light shine in and somehow resonate it in our daily lives.

  • @aarondanaful

mr.d, maybe i should have written, -let the light shine on the poor Christians.

  • @papaducklin "Perfect Christians"? I believe Jesus would think that a contradiction in terms. God did not create us perfect creatures, any more than the others. How about being humble? How about some respect for The Creator? Do you believe he wants us to be perfect? A bit of food for thought.

  • ouch.

  • beautiful
