@Larrymh07 Neither Neil or Steven were member of POCO But past Buffalo Springfield were. The flying Burrito Brothers Byrds,Grateful dead were the sound that lead to POCO. and then EAGLES. Poco's 1st&2nd Bassists Randy Meisner and Timothy B. Schmidt were The Eagles 1st & v2nd Bass Player. Don't forget Bernie Leadon Who with Glen and Don and Randy formed Linda Ronstadt's band, which begat the Eagles. It was Bernie that kept the country folk.in the Eagles. After ONE OF THESE NIGHTS he was gone.

@mygirlruth The band Buffalo Springfield included Neil Young & Stephan Stills, plus Jim Messina & Ritchie Furay. Ritchie & Jim formed Poco, so the two new bands were contemporaries.
