He lived in a lower-middle class family,and attended an art school of which he dropped out from to focus 100% on this music career. He than began producing for local underground rappers,until he finally reached the ears of Jay-z,talib kweli,common and even the game & Scarface. Producing for these big-names,caused his rise to fame. While working on Jay'z Blueprint 2 or blueprint 1,i forgot,he decided to try rapping,of which he had actual talent in and began working on what is now known and consider'd one of hip-hops finest albums: The colledge drop out. He than made his second album which was also a gigantic hit,named the late registratrion. By that time,kanye west was consider'd one of the greates hip-hop producers of all time & one of its most influential artist. He continued recording albums: Graduation & 808's Heartbreak of which gained much lower reviews from the critics,but were all a commercial sucess! While we all wait patiently for a 5h relase,he is producing and being featured in many songs.

The fact that there's songs from 808's on here makes this list irrelevant. His first two albums are all you need on this list. Just because it's popular doesn't make it good music. Lost in the World over Hey Mama makes me die a little inside if that's what other Kanye fans think.
