Bowie and Davies both share the Australian connection. Bowie kept an apartment in Elizabeth Bay, Sydney for 10 years that he used as a base for exploration of outback Oz and tropical Queensland. Iva Davies grew up in Sydney's Northern Beaches and after touring the world returned to his roots, settling in beautiful Whale Beach where he lives today with his family. Bowie still returns to Australia to visit. He checked out our friends' shop in the Rocks some years ago. G'day Major Tom...lol

As much as I love David Bowie, Iva's voice knocks Davids out of the ballpark with his range, smoothness and power. Amazing voice, amazing songs.

Had the pleasure of seeing them once in concert,must have been late 80's or so.Easily one of the best shows I've ever seen.Another example of someone who should have received far more acclaim than he actually did.

@Insanetigress yeah this guy was very good but yes they never played him on american radio so sad.
