Great video. Thanks a million.
I'm currently retopologising a high res face. I've done half the head but when I put on symmetry it goes crazy. Any tips?

it would be easy to create this thing with just editpoly modeling

Thank you for the tutorial. Helped me a lot. Even with the coughing :D

awesome video man, poly draw is amazing, changed my entire workflow and made my work more precise

I just started making high-poly stuff in Mudbox and need to retopologize in Max, so this is really helpful, thanks :)

Thanks for the tutorial, could have done without the coughing directly in the mic, but all is forgiven :)

@kornswag haha yeah, sorry about that, I was really ill at the time. At least you can't catch what I had through the internet :)

thanks, great tutorial.
can u poryect the hig poly details of the mesh sculpted on zbrush, like on the retopology procces in zbrush?

@3dberserk1
In Zbrush that creates an actual high poly again, the closest thing to it within 3ds max is simply projecting and creating a normal map off of that (using the projection modifier)

When i try to use the freeform tools, i can only work on the opposite side of the view i'm seeing it. If i wanna retopologize a character from the front, im forced to work on his back, in front view. And the same the other way. Any tip?

@Kinslayer47 I haven't encountered the problem you are describing, and to be honest I have no idea how to fix it, sorry!
