@goodvibesallround Yes, that is a fair assessment of similar LSD trips I've taken. The visuals we're definitely cool but more importantly is how LSD made me feel! And I felt incredibly DRUNK but LUCID and I could engage on any topic of conversation and talk for hours. And, I could see myself having sex for hours and hours without ever losing my erection! LOL But LSD is an incredible drug. I wish it were legal.

@Quantom1314 What was your trip like? I've dropped acid about 4 times. I had heavy visuals...patterns....distorti
on of reality etc...Is that the same for you? -
@cutis1000 Of course....it's like marijuana trips in movies. You don't take it literally. Also people today say LSD was stronger back in the 60's....that's bullshit. You only need a small amount to trip. The most I've taken was 6 tabs and that was a pretty good trip...I saw mainly patterns, melting letters and a distortion of reality....is that the same for you? Personally I was glad my mind was strong enough.

@cutis1000 Like my grandpap says - "You're right. That shit just makes everything blurry and surreal. It's a bullshit way to spend an afternoon"

@sambadoynum If that's typical, I'd love to know where to get some! ;-)

@cutis1000 typical LSD i've come across is usually 250 micrograms +

you don't have visuals like his but you may feel like he felt having the visuals.
I think thats the point...not the visual part but the emotional part...and I agree with you about the rest of you comment.

I lived the 1960s, but I just saw this movie for the first time last night (in the middle of the night) on regular TV! I watched the whole thing until 4 a.m. I couldn't turn it off so I never got to bed. I recommend this movie to anyone who grew up in the Woodstock/Psychedelic generation! BTW, I read the U.S. Bill of Rights and I know that I have the constitutional right--------- to be "Groovy"!!!!!!!!!!! 5-Stars for this classic movie!!! Anybody got some acid??????????? @_@

My only problem with this movie is that having done LSD a number of times, I can't say I EVER had visuals of the likes Peter Fonda experiences in this film. I mean, that's hollywood! However, what I would posit is that the conclusion of this film does bring up the most important question one asks oneself when one has experienced LSD. And that question is: what really happened to me?
