High Wind and Thunderstorms @ My Place

The Great Thunderstorm of April 10th woke me up before 3 a.m. and I got my Nikon Coolpix P5100 out and shot digital video of the downpour. My ceiling started buckling and big drops came inside because the roof is fucked. I called our property management folks and they sent out City Roofing to check it out. Yep, the roof needs to be repaired since the water on this place's flat roof was seeping through some seams. I had to put a plastic garbage container a foot or so from my computer to catch the water dripping in. Also I found out later, once it was light outside, that a brick wall in my complex was knocked completely over and a tree snapped in half. Throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex there was much, much damage and quite a few 18-wheelers were knocked onto their sides by the strong straight winds, people had their roofs torn off and trees were down all over the place, plus much flash flooding hit the area.

i had a storm like that where i live here in CT

but there was no rain.

just crazy ass lightning and thunder and it woke me up @ 3am lol
