Yes it's true this trip was prompted by my love of Star Wars. (Allow 5 seconds for laughter) But it goes deeper than that. Star Wars was the first movie that had a big impact on me; it made me want to travel. It was an integral part of my childhood and helped me through some tough times. I spent most of my life at 3812 Place Menard, so moving from there made such a big impact. That flick takes me back to a time when things were uncomplicated...
It's also ultimately what made me want to be a filmmaker. What better way to pay tribute to my past and future than by going to my roots? With this video, I attempt to give you a taste of what goes on in my head. As such, this might be my most personal work ever.
I've enjoyed shlogging it up for you. Thanks to all my viewers and friends for your support!
No wonder it took so long! It was worth the wait, film boy - love it

@Stannersj I'd been working on it since the end of May; if I hadn't, the vid wouldn't have been made til next year!!!

Hi Shaun!
I think this is your best one yet... (closely trailing your Football editions of course... very jealous you attended those matches btw..)
Awesome intro: nobody adds such production value into their video blogs quite like you do! Your Tunisian footage is extensive man.. and the editing is nicely done as always... like the music transition when you get to Matmata.. (again, jealous of the travels here..)
I'm going to miss the Shlogs! I hope you have a new concept up your sleeve!!

@scabbedwingz : You sure know how to make me blush! I'm glad you appreciated it (3 hours 10 minutes of footage down to 18 in total!!!)
Me and some guys I know are slowly getting the ball rolling for something new. Will definitely keep you posted. Thanks again!
