  • i dont mean any offense, but only in america would an idiot abroad be shown on the science channel.

  • @BigBaggaBlues I'm from the South and I laugh so hard at An Idiot Abroad that I get tears in my eyes. What you said had so many flaws, it's ridiculous.

  • @calataris The show would be better suited for the Travel Channel or even NatGeo, but Discovery doesn't own those. The Science Channel doesn't have that big of a viewership; it's not included in my cable package at all. I've only seen episodes of this program because for a while Charter was letting you watch stuff OnDemand for channels that weren't in the tiers you subscribed to (as long as they weren't premium channels like HBO).

  • BatmanOneOhOne why do Brits have shitty teeth

  • HAHAHA! The American that asked the first question tried to use a British word "mates" and i'm sure he was really chuffed about it afterwards.

  • After 6:00 take note of the beer level in the glasses...

  • Why the fuck can't Americans pronounce Gervais properly? It rhymes with "blaze," not "mace."

  • @DanKWynn You do realise a large percentage of the people doing that research are immigrants? 40% of Americans reject Evolution, one of the strongest fields in Science. Saying that, not all Americans are stupid, and a lot of English people are. Just thought I'd point that out.

  • I don't think Karl is an idiot at all, and neither of them do really. He just has a peculiar quality of seeing things as matter-of-fact without any kind of bias and emotion, and then from there just applies common sense principles. It is like he thinks in simplified terms, and appears like he is simple-minded sometimes because of that but you can see there is a lot going on in his head. Like he is concerned with just facts, because any subtleties or implications are not the subject matter.

  • Karl might be my favorite person ever.

  • @calataris ahah yeah the country that spends more on research and development than the rest of the fucking world combined. ahahhhahah woo yeah they don't know their science.
