1970's Show Open, when they weren't in a hurry to get to the show.Late example of cell animation before everything changed to computer generation. Hosts: Richard Hart & Jan Yanahero.
I remember this theme from the Boston edition EM. I'll never the original hosts from 1977 Robin Young & the late Marty Sender. Great theme, great hosts and a great show.
WBZ Channel 4 in Boston carried Evening Magazine with original hosts Robin Young & Marty Sender. The theme music was great, the hosts were great & the show was great. Marty Sender died in 2000 at age 53 of a serious head injury from a fall off a golf cart 2 months earlier.
Laid back opening with shades of Monty Python. Why is everything so hyper today? There are so many more channels to advertise on now that you would think the opposite would be true.
I grew up in the Bay Area and remember this. I think Walter Cronkite may have done promos for this show leading up to its premiere in 1976 (KPIX was and is CBS in the Bay Area) - but I was six or seven back then so my memory is a little fuzzy.
My mom was on this show in the 80's....she road horseback cross counrty, can
anyone help me find it.

Very nice find! Would you happen to have the closing with animation anywhere? My immediate family and I were living in Alamo at the time.

the closing was just as good.
