Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, Kuei-Jin ending.

Vampire: Bloodlines has five possible endings (though a couple of them have variations hinging on whether you or LaCroix is the one who opens the Ankaran Sarcophagus).

*SPOILERS* (in case this isn't obvious)

This is the Kuei-Jin ending where, for whatever reason--revenge for the Blood Hunt called against you, a desire to be on the (apparently) winning side or a simple concord with Ming Xiao--you turn against your own kind to stand beside Ming Xiao and her cohorts among the Kuei-Jin...a dangerous path, and not without its consequences.

And if my YouTube Search doesn't lie, other YouTubers have previously posted videos of other Bloodlines endings but no one else has posted the Kuei-Jin ending yet. Remember: You saw it here first. :-D

It was very unwise of Ming-Xiao to bound the protagonist with sarcophagus. Eventually ropes will rot, and she will emerge for revenge.

I love how vulnerable LaCroix looks in this ending, and how Ming Xiao acts around him.

At first I thought that LaCroix was homosexual (takes one to know one), but now that I see what Ming Xiao says and how she says it, it's obvious to me that they sound like ex-lovers. Though, LaCroix also sounds like that when he speaks to Nines. Bisexual vampire, anyone?

Anyhow, I agree with the comment below, this ending has everything to be an action movie.

In all honesty, I can't imagine why someone would consider this a bad ending; you are not dead, you are going to escape and get a slowly but surely revenge. It's very interesting how you would do this without anyone's help, since all kindred society hates you now. Then again, it's not like you had all the help in the world before.

Just by thinking about it plays itself in front of me like a movie. Very interesting indeed.

Seriously? You have the option of massacring the entire Kuei-Jin organazation, entertheir trap filled maze, confront Xiao inside her home ground in the temple and kill her, but Xiao + 4 guards alone - oh no!

However can i win? I call bullshit. Activate Celerity 5 = guards dead without a shot fired

Yea my beef with this ending is all in-cutscene, you should have to fight Xiao and her guards and instead of dying if they beat you, they subdue you and dunk you

I fail to see how this would do anything to a vampire who had at least 2 or 3 strength stat. They could just break the ropes and swim for shore. Sure, they'd be hated by Californian vampires, but they could find some refuge elsewhere. I also fail to see how any of the vampire protags could have let themselves get subdued by Ming Xiao and a few of her bodyguards, since you easily beat her without having any necks to feed off of.
