What power! Gigli had a wonderful voice too but when listen to this recording followed immediately by Gigli's recording of the the same song it isn't even close. Del Monaco's voice is exceptional!

The voice is in great shape but interpretation more than a a bit impersonal...dubbed of course...

Not his best, his voice not suited for this kind of song. Great tenor but on this one Caruso and Gigli leave him in the dust.
