This DB-ONE Concept is my personal proposal for an extreme Aston Martin that I've done during my Masters Degree in Transportation Design. The project was finished in August 2005, but now I've decided to unveil it and show you a part of my work. I hope you enjoy it!!

  • You should put your design on a real Aston Martin and show it.. A lot of people would be interested.. Ever thought how much you would charge to do it? I think I'd like to get a martin modified by you sometime in future... I am a fan already!

  • @rupam15

Thank you! The project is already 6 years old and, if I had to do it again now, I would make some little changes. But even so, it would be great to see it as a full size model... The scale model I did during my studies just looked great in the photo shooting in Valencia! :)

  • i quite like it overall, but i don't like the lights, they're too small and arne't the usual aston martin shape. also the bonnet dips in (concave) if u look at the real aston martins there is a slightly raised section on the bonnet. and the back is too pointy. the side profile looks like the shelby gr-1 concept car, are u sure u didn't copy it?

  • @JoeMaiorana , thank you very much for your bright and smart comment.

You just show that you can see what an Aston Martin is nowadays, but I don't think you have read my description of the project. This is my personal vision of an extreme Aston Martin, using for that purpose a different surface language than the current and past models.

By the way, do you know the recently shown One 77?? It doesn't really fit in your definition of an Aston Martin, right?

  • @JoeMaiorana , to answer your last question, I will suggest you a very simple exercise:

1-Take a side view picture of the Shelby GR-1. 2-Take a side view picture of my DB-ONE (go to 1:29) 3-Compare both side views. 4- Can you see the differences?

The similarity between both profiles are not more than those you can find between models of a common segment, like a 2010 Renault Megane 5dr and a 2010 Opel Astra 5dr. Is the Renault a copy of the Opel??

  • there are others who think the same

    will post link

  • You may like it or not, and you can give your opinion like others did before you, possitive or negative.

But you have no right to insult anybody here like you did.
