A good rule of thumb: don't try to beat a Corvette, you're just wasting fuel.

That was solid run for the mustang for only having an intake and tune. Not bad.
-
base price, vs mods, do the math. Mustangs rule. But I'd still give my eye teeth for a stealth coloured ZR1.

and i cant see how anyone would go with a mustang over a vette though the c6s make 430 hp = lighter weight only an idiot would rather have 1 over a vette just common sence but theirs not a lot of that in here i see,

hmm mustang fat and heavy cant corner yup you guys go with that.

I do like the GT. But.....
True, $45K for a C5 when it was NEW. Now you pick one up for $15K add a "special" twin-turbo system for about $7k and get over 550HP. Bye Bye Super Charged Mustang. And most things that get's in it's way. LOL
I'm picking my 2000 C5 Today!! And this is exactly what I am going to do. Of course I may have to upgrade the size of my mirrors to accommodate all those cars that I'll be passing up.

@aaronbigtime uhave to do a lot more then just supercharge a car for it to be driveable. is that cost include the transmission changes, and the engine changes?
-
I own both, the Corvette is head and shoulders above the stang. The aerodynamics really kick in once you start hitting real speeds and the stang just cant hang. the stang also is horrible on the track, too bulky. my stang is like a really fast brick, the Vette is a real sports car, I have gotten it to 160 and it was still pullin like mad.
