The updated version of this video is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4B41o... so please watch that one instead of this one. The animation is improved, as is some of the translation.

Tir and Teo have their audience with Emperor Barbarosa, and then Tir and company go to Magician's Island to retrieve the Astral Conclusions from Leknaat. In other words, what you have here is the opening of the game, but with voices! (But without Futch, unfortunately. I miss his argument with Ted!)

Available Cast information:
Tir McDohl -- Kenichi Suzumura
Gremio -- Takehito Koyasu
Ted -- Akira Ishida
Luc -- Jun Fukuyama
Teo McDohl -- Atsushi Yamakawa
Pahn -- Satoshi Hino
Barbarosa -- Takashi Tanaka (I think?)
Windy -- Masako Sumitomo
Leknaat -- Sayaka Oohara
(Again, I don't know who played Cleo, unfortunately.)

Oh, also, I'm sorry that I didn't try to reproduce Luc's teleportation effects the way they were in this game: they were just too darn complex. So I approximated his teleportation effects from Suikoden II instead. :P

While the character sprites--except for Teo, who was omitted for some reason--were obtained at the Spriter's Resource, I had to pull the backgrounds out of screenshots from the game. The translation, again, is the one posted by Sage at Due Fiumi, but for some reason I found myself changing a lot more this time around, though most of the changes were still fairly minor. Still, that's why I've added a caption track to the video, to have little notes about what I changed, and a few other tidbits of stuff.

I own nothing. Audio and video are both the property of Konami, makers of the greatest RPG series of all time: Suikoden!
