Filmed by Christoph von Furer-Haimendorf. Broadcast by the BBC in the 1960's and based on fieldwork carried out in Arunachal Pradesh in 1944-5. The film is part of a large archive of footage shot by Haimendorf in the Himalayas. It is put up with his permission.   • every tribe in arunachal is advance in every field of life...no one most advance...and calming as most advance will be wrong and sounding so selfish...let make every tribe a most advance tribe...

  • The tribe is most advance tribe in Arunchal now in education etc... they have produced more doctors, engineers, lawyers etc
