I know where he's going with the school thing, while I was living in America I got high honors in all my classes, highest being 99% in science.
I get to Canadian high school after I moved, and wow, the curriculum is much richer/harder, grades are MUCH more difficult to achieve, and I only got low honors twice, mainly I stayed in merit.
Point being, yes, the American educational system is fucked.

My grades are barely passing, and yet I was the ONLY student in a 9th grade class to understand even the basics of RNA. I was one of the TEN people in my entire middle school to know of the holocaust. You can ask ANY American adult a simple long division problem and 9/10 people will get it wrong, 8/10 don't even remember how to do it. The world is going to shit. We're getting dumber. Chimps are getting smarter. It's planet of the fucking apes.
