How about detonate a bomb in a crowded market place, hotel or restaurant?

Ever since I started looking into Islam, I have found more information than I wouldve ever found without effort. Among these things was the fact that the purpose of a woman covering her body and hair is not to degrade her, but to have people see her mind and soul, not her body. Also, it's to display modesty. I think that is a great thing now and am glad to be enlightened. (:

Abuse of women is found world wide through many cultures and one can safely assume this has nothing to do with religion any more than Catholicism has to do with pedophilia. In many cases the abuse of women is down to the individual mentality of the abuser or archaic "old world" cultural views that, again, have nothing to do with religion. Islam gave the women the rights and respect they deserved at a time when women were treated like property. I'm an American, a woman, and a "convert".
