My favorite EC song, and not knowing there was an accompanying video, to see this for for the first time on a pirate DVD I bought in Laos..what a buzz!! His early videos weren't so professional but they conveyed a sense of what those times were about..magic!..isn't it time for another era of imagination, creativity, fun and rebellion that the Punk/New Wave years of the late 70's/early 80's gave us?

@crapple009 In the video with Costello's own commentary (also on youtube) he seems think they are driving around Shepard's Bush Green. It's slightly to the west of London.

Does anyone know where exactly in London this clip was filmed? It seems they're going around a long square. Just curious, that's all. Also was this clip filmed in late '79 or early '80? Thanks for any info!

@kevhead66 Hey good point too and good memory. I remember how I liked Taking Liberties but the songs I have not heard in many a year or 2 decades. Only a memory? I was very fond of fondling Hoover Factory. Even some of the country songs were OK with me. I would have included that too but I was just using short hand. Keep up good health and don't be lack luster, mister. I hope someone puts up some of the good songs..

Can anyone explain what possessed to Elvis ? My Aim is true / this years model/ get happy and then after 1980 so much more crooning and country and less clever lyrics and melodies and it seems like Elvis wanted to tone down his creativity .. well really his melodies are not as good as pre-1980. Anyone agree? I know most of you probably don't and I don't need to hear from you. ha.
