And I believe that Christ consciousness comes in many flavors, too--Christ consciousness (full union with God) refers to the potential of every human Being. Lord Jesus said "Everything that I can do, you can do and more". He came to teach us the way to God--loving God with all of our hearts, might, minds, and Souls, and loving others as we love ourselves. This (in my opinion) is the essence of all spiritual paths, and all true Prophets, Saints, and Gurus will lead us to those two truths. <3

Actually--Avatar means an incarnation of GOD, not just a holy person. All truly holy persons are engaged in intimate relationship with God, and can help lead the rest of us toward such a relationship, but they are not necessarily any more incarnation than any OTHER sentient Being (in that we ALL have part of God [or the Paramatma] within us and are created by God). They have simply fulfilled the purpose for their Being.

I love it! Avatar is a fancy word for holy person, which we all are anyway when you get right down to the Truth. Incarnation is a fancy word for body or "having a body" which you do not really need after all. Some people like to make classes and groups and I think they would say a "perfect incarnation" like Jesus.
I believe Krishna is like Jesus or rather Christ comes in many flavors.

Krishna is known to be the supreme lord of the godhead. There is no upper god than Krishna. He is a form (avatar)of Vishnu and all other gods worship Krishna. So if u worship Krishna or Vishnu. Every demigod is happy too.
A mantra is the sacred current of words which are generated from the Sanskrit language and used to praise and indulgence of gods name.
There is a maha mantra. ( supreme mantra)
Hare Krishna hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna hare hare
Hare Rama hare Rama
Rama Rama Hare hare.

@19Shalia Om namo bhagavate vaasudevaya means "oh supreme lord, (kirshna, vishnu) my humble obediences unto you". "ram sita ram" refers to ramyana, lord rama, the 7th avatar/incarnation of vishnu (god) and sita is an incarnation of lakshmi, lord vishnus companion, and they where married. These are both mantras to supreme lord creator of the universe.
