How did you get a fat, metal sounding guitar instrument on garageband?

If you like metal/metalcore stuff, check out my song I made on Garageband called "A Cry Beyond"!! It's on my page.

I advise to use a distorsion pedal lije the boss metal core, with a no effect track for the guitar. With a good adjustement, you really can have a great metal sound. Then, the drum it's much better with ez drummer, but it's a liitle bit expansive.
Have a very good bass sound is easy, with the equalizer and a no effect or edgy rock track.
Good luck for all of mac users !

Could you make a video explaining how to make blast beats like that?

Nice work on the drums man, i've been doing the same things in GB, a brighter metal sound but still similar. Anyways nice work.

@joejumps4fun you can slow down the tempo and record it, then move it back up to whatever, it will make it faster
-
You should go to effects and lower the pitch on the guitar.

That drumming...
Hey man, I am thinking of making a death metal song about ebola for my english class... I would record the guitar and vocals, but I don't know how I would get the good drum track, suck as this one. Where did you get this?

@remedyz0802 How do I do that? Do I need to buy some pad or anything?

@TinyKurds Nope! just use the MIDI editor inside of garageband (or whatever software you're using)
